The Random Number building block is used to generate a random Number value.
A Random Number building block has one ON/OFF input and one Number output. The block sets its output value to a random number.
To configure a Random Number building block, select the minimum and maximum value that the block should generate. The block can be configured to calculate a random number when the input turns ON and OFF, or just when the input turns ON. It can also be configured to avoid repeating the same output value in successive calculations.
In the example to the right, the building block is configured to generate values between 2 and 12 (inclusive) when the block's input turns ON. It may repeat the same value in successive calculations.
