Delta (Number) Building Block

The Delta (Number) building block calculates the amount by which a Number value changes.

A Delta (Number) building block has one Number input value, one ON/OFF input value, and one Number output value. When the Number input value changes, the block will calculate the difference between the new input value and the previous input value and use that difference as the new output value. When the RESET input turns ON, the output value will be reset to "0".

A Delta (Number) building block can be configured to ignore the input value when it changes to "0", or to ignore changes that are greater than a predetermined amount.

In the example to the right, the building block will ignore the input value when it changes to "0", or changes by more than +/– 10.
