The Delta (Strobe) building block is used to indicate when a Number value has changed by a certain amount.
A Delta (Strobe) building block has one Number input value and one ON/OFF output value. The output will pulse ON then OFF when the input value changes by a predetermined amount.
To configure a Delta (Strobe) building block, enter the amount by which the input value must change to cause the output to pulse. To detect an increasing input value, use a positive value. To detect a decreasing input value, use a negative value. The block can also be configured to ignore the input value when it changes to "0", or to ignore changes that are greater than a predetermined amount.
In the example to the right, the output value will pulse ON then OFF each time the input value increases by 2. The input will be ignored when it changes to "0".
