The Beep building block is used to play a system sound.
A Beep building block has one ON/OFF input and one ON/OFF output. When the input value changes, the Beep building block plays a sound based on its settings then updates its output to match the input.
To configure a Beep building block, select the system sound that should play when the block turns ON, and the sound that should play when the block turns OFF.
In the example to the right, the Building block will play the system sound "Basso" when it turns ON, and "Tink" when it turns OFF.
The menus in the Inspector window for the Beep building block will display the standard OS X alert sounds as well as any custom sounds that have been installed into the system-wide /System/Library/Sounds folder and the current user's Library/Sounds folder.
