The MIDI Controller building block responds to MIDI Control Change messages.
A MIDI Controller building block has no inputs one Number output. When the block receives a MIDI Control Change message with the correct Controller number, it will set its output value to the Controller value in the message.
A MIDI Controller building block is configured by selecting the desired Controller number. If the selected Controller has both course and fine values, the block can be configured to set its output to the combined course and fine value (0–16383) or the control value alone (0–127).
In the example to the right, the MIDI Controller building block will set its output to the combined course and fine value of MIDI Controller number 7 (Volume).
Additional options are available using the common MIDI Source building block settings.
